In the present work the characterisazion of reference electrode Ag/AgCl type dry by 0.01 M [Fe(CN) in 0.1 M KCl using the technique of cyclic voltammetry at potential range of -0.2 to 0.8 V and scan rate variation..The anodic (Epa) and the cathodic (Epc) peak potentials. as well as the corresponding anodic (ipa) and cathodic(ipc) peak currents. were obtained at different scan rates (10. 20. 25. 50. 100. and 200) mV/s . The half-wavepotentials (E1/2) of the [Fe(CN)6]4-/ [Fe(CN)6]3- couple in the investigated solvent media have been evaluated. Ipversus v1/2 have been calculated using the Randles-Sevcik equation..

A Study on Teachers' Competency in Teaching English at SMA Negeri 2

This study is entitled; A Study on Teachers' Competency In Teaching English At SMA Negeri 2 Kupang. It was conducted to answer the research question, “what are the teachers' competencies in teaching English at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang?”. The methodology of this study was qualitative method. The research instruments of thi study were interview and observation. The research subject of this study were four English teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang. The result of this study showed there were four competencies owned by the English teacher in teaching English at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang. The pedagogic competence was performed by the teachers in some manners such as, know the learner characteristic, understand learning theories, develop lesson plan, facilitate the students' potential, communicate with the students, organize the process of assesment and evaluation, utilize the result of assesment and evaluation, take action to improve the quality of reflective learning. Then, the personalcompetence was performed by acting in accordinance with the norms of religious, legal, social, and national culture of Indonesia, and present self as being steady, noble, and rule models for the students, and also showed the work ethic as a teacher. Another competence owned by the teachers in teaching English was social competence. Social competence was performed by the teachers with some manners such as; act objective, be inclusive, and not discriminative, communicate effectively, adapt on duty in entire territory ofIndonesia. The last competence owned by the teachers was professional competence. The professional competence was performed by the teachers with some manners such as; understand the material, structure, concepts, and scientific mindset that support the subject matter and know the competency standards and basic competencies mastered basic subject or field of teaching development. Those are the competencies were performed by the English teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang based on their ability and capability inteaching English.

The Effectiveness of Cooperative Learning Type Team Assisted Individualization Based on Constructivism Toward Ability to Think Mathematically Creative of Student

. Many students have difficulty and get low score in trigonometry. Some reason said this subject contains a lotof formulas and the teachers have not used the learning system that can make students more active. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of cooperative learning type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI)based on constructivism towad students' ability to think trigonometry creatively. This study is an experimental studyconducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Semarang. Data collection technique is student activity observation and creativethinking ability tests of mathematical ability. The result shows classical completeness of creative thinking abilities ofstudents reached 85.7%. Value of creative mathematical thinking skills (KBKM) was influenced by students' activity was78.4% and the value of Mathematical Creative Thinking Skills test experimental class was better than the control class. Itmeans that learning of mathematics trigonometry by applying the cooperative model type TAI constructivism based ismore effective than learning by using conventional learning models.
