Refleksi Pola Kerukunan Umat Beragama

In a plural community, harmony among religious followers is undeniable although in fact there have been many social conflicts with religiousnuance in some part of Indonesia. Focus of this research is how the pattern ofharmony in Indonesia connected with social dimension does. Finding of thisresearch shows that religious tolerance will grow up when there is a spacefor dialogue. In social and cultural space discussion among believers will benaturally developed without any coercion. By a local tradition dialog, an egocan decrease indirectly. Even a cloth of religion recognized as identity canbe leaved.

Agama, Konflik, dan Integrasi Sosial (Integrasi Sosial Pasca Konflik, Situbondo)

The research discusses the integration efforts after the riot in Situbondo, East Java. Situbondo community has initiated several conflic resolutions and integrations supported by Muslims andChristian leaders. The data on the role of religious community, in this case Islam and Christian as well as the community in Situbondo in general, is gathered through observation, interview, and a survey. Secondary data is gathered through review of literure relevant to the research problems. Conflict, social integration, and reconciliation theories are used to explain and analyzeresearch problems based on the data gathered. The finding shows that integration in Situbondo community and reconsiliation effort carried out by religious communities (Islam, Christianand the whole community of Situbondo) was drawn from local wisdom in Situbondo. The local wisdom serves as social capital in manifesting integration in the community and harmonious relation among religious communities.

Weak and False Hadits in Learning Book of Qur'an and Hadits at Islamic Schools

The research goals are to answer some questions related to the materials and the quality of hadits which are taught in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Elementary School) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Islamic Junior high School). The text book of Quran and Hadits both schools are based on the curriculum 1988, it refers to the regulation of Ministry of Religious Affairs no 2/2008. The subject of Quran and Hadits is part of the subject of Religious Education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Madrash Tsanawiyah, and the purpose is to enable students to understand Quran and Hadist as the sources of Islamic teaching. The subject of hadits is the hadits which really refer to Prophet Muhammad with the valid (shahih) chain of hadits narators. There are nine textbooks of Quran and Hadits that are learned depending on the numbers of class. There are 31 hadits as main materials to be discussed and other hadits as supporting materials. The data (hadits) is analyzed using criticts of hadits. The finding of the research reveals that not all materials of hadits taught in madrasah are valid (sahih), some hadits are very poor (weak), and its authenticity is doubtful and even some hadits are false (not authentic).
