Abstract

Learning Indonesian inpoint to the ability of learners to communicate in Indonesianis good and right, both orally and inwriting, and fosteran appreciation ofthe work of Indonesian literature. Classroom action resear chaim stoim proverea ding comprehension begin ning with the letter card.This study uses descriptive and qualitative approach to research design classaction. The design ofthis study in cludesa preliminary study (preliminary observations), planning, action, observation and reflection. Subjects in this study were educators and learners in the learning process by using amediacard reading letters. The firstin strument of this study is ther esearchers them selves whoactas data collectorsusing a supporting instrument observation sheet. Data analysis wasdone by follow ing the flowof data analysis in cludes data collection data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results of the implementation of the act of learning to read the media cardusing the letter soneach cycleal ways increase. An increasein cycle 1average-average57.14%.In the second cyclean in crease in the average average 89.52%.This suggests that learning Indonesian mediausing letter card scanin crease the activity of reading beginning at grade1learners Elementary School 04 Bengkayang.
